5 Gifts that Keep On Giving

Today we wanted to share the 5 gifts that will help us feel good inside and improve our well-being, our relationships and our mindset...the gifts that keep on giving!

- Pause: The gift of taking a moment to PAUSE, feel what we feel freely. We are often on the go, busy working, talking, solving problems, and taking a few moments each day to PAUSE helps us get centered and regulate ourselves. We have time to think, reflect, feel, let go, release, the pause helps us be in tune with what is going on inside our body and inside our mind.

- Presence: the gift of our PRESENCE - even though it is so popular to multitask and do several things at once, what if we focused all our attention on being present and in the moment. When we are talking to someone, we can focus on that one person, our phone is put away. We are actively listening, not thinking about what we need to answer back but fully present and actively listening. With our kids we focus on them, we get to their eye level and fully concentrate on being here now.

- Acceptance: the gift of ACCEPTANCE- we accept who we are, we accept difficult situations, we accept the challenges or hard relationships. We can accept the differences we share with our loved ones and let go of wanting to change them. When we start from a place of love and acceptance then we are able to focus our energy on what we want to change in ourselves.

- Forgiveness: The gift of FORGIVENESS- if we have been harmed by anyone and whether or not we received the apology we observed, offering ourselves, and the person who hurt us the gift of forgiveness will help us heal and feel more whole. When we can let go and release the hurt, shame, anger, grief of that incident, we release a lot of painful feelings that have been oppressing us and weighing us down. It can be the hardest thing to let go and forgive…but it will change us wholeheartedly.

- Gratitude: the gift of GRATITUDE- It helps us lead with love and appreciation for what is. Gratitude helps us find hope by noticing all the things that we get to receive and have. It is both grounding and uplifting. It lights up our day and gives us a boost. Let’s find what we are grateful for today within ourselves, in our families, in our circle of friends, at work, in our communities and watch the ripple effect.
