Four years ago, I created a Facebook education page: Notes To Self. My goal was to serve others and help people feel good about themselves. I wanted to share an uplifting quote or message each day to inspire people to keep going or feel supported on their journey. We grow through what we go through and oftentimes words can empower us to keep going. I wanted to create a safe place for people to learn, grow and flourish. My dream was also, down the line, to be able to offer classes/ training/ coaching to help people learn tools that could help them conquer their fears and/or get unstuck from problematic situations. Slowly but surely I persevered and I am finally "ready" to start my website and launch my first course in a few weeks. Notes To Self Academy is a platform created for the good of others. My big dream is to make this a safe haven for all learners & inquiring minds who are curious about how to live mindfully and who embrace a growth mindset. Abraham Lincoln once said: "I walk slowly, but I never walk backwards". The most important thing is to have grace with yourself and the grit to persevere. I am certainly not the top expert at the topics I chose for my courses, but what I learned was life changing and small changes in our daily habits can add up to big life changes. After you learn how changing your breath can help you sleep better, develop a stronger core, relieve stress and help you calm down in times of anxiety, your life will improve a little. Learning how to embrace a growth mindset can help you achieve more goals and can help your children feel less pressure and more understood. They will learn to embrace failures, see them as learning opportunities and focus on their own learning which will improve their self-esteem and relieve some of their stress. It is a beautiful circle of influence. We all benefit from each other and can learn, grow and flourish together. I am so happy that you are here! What a privilege it is to share what I know with you and hopefully give you some of the tools to take on your journey.
